UGG Boots as we know them, have a very complicated history with many different variations that can be found scattered across the internet. The simple fact, however, is that people around the world see UGG Boots as a true Aussie icon, right alongside Vegemite and the good old Hills Hoist, and it was back in the 1960’s when the UGG revolution first started with our very own sun-bleached, Aussie Surfers!

Now, the story of UGG Since 1974 began in the 1950’s with a young sheep classer by the name of Arthur Springthorpe. Working with sheep every day meant Arthur quickly became an expert for all things Merino and sheepskin. That first-hand knowledge saw Arthur establish Kangaroo Fur and Sheepskin Products Pty Ltd in the early 1960’s as a wholesale supplier of fur and sheepskin products.
The Aussie UGG Boot was fast becoming recognised across the world and by the 1970’s the company was expanded to include full manufacturing capabilities.

Fast forward another 30 years to present day and UGG Since 1974 continues to a true Australian Owned company that includes two of Arthurs grandchildren working in pivotal roles within the company.

Ugg Since 1974 has continued to flourish over the years and now offers over 30 amazing styles that can be purchased in one of over 20 colours. 100% Australian made from the finest quality sheepskin with the highest standards of workmanship using traditional methods to handcraft every pair of UGG Boots that leave their premises.
